Pink Therapy in association with Sex Positive Institute of Poland is holding a three-day international training in Warsaw on
16th — 18th November 2018.
**This training has been endorsed by the Polish Sexological Society, whose members will get a special discount**
This advanced workshop is for behavioural and sexual health professionals (counsellors, psychotherapists, medical doctors, social workers, HIV/STI consultants, clinical sexologists, & LGBT counsellors, relationship counsellors, sex coaches and educators) who wish to further their knowledge about contemporary approaches to working with diversity in human sexuality.
We recognise that many clinicians struggle to know how best to respond to their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clients when they seek guidance about their sex lives and their relationships. They may feel even less confident when treating people who engage in consensual BDSM and fetish practices.
If they have been fortunate to undertake sexological training, they will be aware that most sexological training focuses a heteronormative paradigm of fertility & reproduction and presenting quite outdated models of understanding sexual performance and sexual difficulties and this knowledge might not fit the lives of many of their patients.
Our three-day training will expand your knowledge of human sexuality, update your awareness of sexual science and sexual health and allow you opportunities to examine your own beliefs and assumptions about sex, relationships and gender diversity.
This training by a team of experienced clinical sexologists and psychotherapists:
Dominic Davies — founder of Pink Therapy. Dominic is a psychotherapist and has been training therapists internationally around diverse sexualities and lifestyles for 35 years.
Dr Agata Loewe is a systemically trained psychotherapist, clinical psychologist and holds a PhD in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Human Sexuality. She is a co-founder of Sex-Positive Institute in Poland.
